Maryland chapter #348 of Lutherans for Life formed in 2017 to assist Maryland congregations in building “Life Teams,” equipped “to be a Gospel-motivated voice” for a variety of life issues from conception to natural death. Would you like to learn more about how to make a positive impact on life-related issues affecting your congregation or community in a Gospel-motivated way?
The Executive Committee of the Maryland Chapter of Lutherans for Life cordially invites you to our next general meeting, on Saturday, June 3rd, to be held at Concordia Preparatory School (1145 Concordia Drive, Towson, MD 21286) from 10am to 12pm.
There is no charge for this session, but we urge attendees to bring a donation item for a local crisis pregnancy center.
Activities will include:
- A presentation from Betty Cisela of HomeFit on preparing one’s home to remain as one ages. (“HomeFit provides information which can enable an individual to have a life-long home. Suggestions will make a current residence age-friendly, taking into account possibilities to make your home safe and comfortable”)
- Guidance on starting your own Life Team
- Discussion of ongoing life-related issues affecting our communities, state, and nation
